For Anyone still reading my Blog...

Okay, so, it's July 3rd, and you're probably wondering where the heck I've been. So, my last post was 12 or 13 weeks ago, and a lot can happen in such a short..... scratch that, long time. I finished 8th grade with flying colors, all A's, except for a 89% in Algebra, but who cares about that?! So, summer has started!!! What am I doing?

Saturday, June 13, 2009:
My Grandpa, Mike Cryder, flew into town this morning. This is especially exciting for me because he is taking me back to Billings for a couple weeks. We eat a huge breakfast of blueberry hotcakes, and then Mom drives us back the the airport. I hug and kiss her goodbye, and put my 2 duffel's, and 1 large viola into the luggage section of my Grandpa's RV-6 (for a photo of an RV-6, click http://www.thedukes.org/rv/pix/big/901jh_10sep05_258.jpg). A very small plane that my Great-Granpa built a long time ago. After almost 2 hours in a tiny enclosed space that bounces like crazy, I was ready to land. And landing was a piece of cake. My Grandma picked us up at the Billings airport and we proceeded to her house. I spent 2 weeks in Billings playing with friends, swimming, playing piano, sleeping over at peoples houses, etc. I really enjoyed it. And, now, Micah, my elder brother, is being a jerk and making me get off. So, sorry folks, but this is good bye!!!! (for now!!!)

To be continued.....

Hey hey hey Folks!! So glad to see ya!

So, it's Friday morning on the last day of Spring Break, and you may find yourself asking, 'why Rebekah!, I didn't know you were on Spring Break! Tell me what you did!' Well folks, here's what I did....
Friday afternoon, March 27, 2009: After being picked up early from school by mom, we proceeded home where I finished my packing for a weekend in Billings. After the boys got home from school, we hit the road. We got to Manhattan, MT, in time for dinner, which consisted of baked potatoes, sloppy joes, and green beans (compliments of Aunt Jen!) After gorging ourselves on delicious foods, Naomi, Hannah, Korban, Samuel, myself included, all hit the hot tub. Wow, talk about relaxing! After Hot Tub Time, we went inside and ate delicious cobbler with ice cream, or as the Slovaks say: zmrzlina! (pronounced as spelled, but roll the r's!) We then headed to bed. I had the "priviledge" of sleeping on the cot that was too short, and I only had 1 blanket on. I was cold all night =(

Saturday, March 28, 2009: We woke up early Saturday morning, and I immediatly got dressed, while my cousins slept more. I went downstairs and sat by the fire while breakfast was cooking... Sourdough Hotcakes, compliment of Uncle Jake. We then feasted on more delicious Manhattan food, and left for Billings. Upon our arrival in Billings, we were cruelly forced to spend time with our Grandma Clarice =) At about 2:30 we went to visit Hailey, my favoritest cousin. I spent some time with her, but she was sick =( So, me and grandma went to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Lauson's grave. After that we went to the Skiles house, where Gramsie dropped me off. The rest of my family arrived shortly, and we ate delicious homade burgers!!!! (and fruit salad!) After that we went to the Missions Confrence, which lasted for about 1 1/2 hours. We then went home and hit the sack.

Sunday, March 29, 2009: We woke up, and went to church. At church I saw all of my old Rocky friends, including, but not limited to, Hope, Kayla, Emily, Dan, Corey, Levi, Adam, Adam, Adam, Kerry Lou, Kelly, Karla, Karen, etc. After church we hit the road, this time with Dad in tow. When we reached Bozeman, we realized we couldn't possible drive to Missoula with the roads that bad, so we stayed with Jake and Jen!!! We ate spagetti for dinner, with french bread, and then went to the hot tub. After hot tub time, we went to bed. This time I was sleeping on the living room floor next to the fire, hugging my uncles dog, Strider. Malachi slept on the floor too.

Monday, March 30, 2009: We drove back to Missoula, where we prepared to go fishing the next day!!!

Tuesday, March 31, 2009: We woke up at 4:00 AM, and spent the day fishing. I will not go into details because this it classified information and only special people can know it.

Wednesday, April 1, 2009: I slept to about 9:30, got up, ate breakfast, and biked over to Starbucks to visit mom at work! I was at Starbucks from 11:30- 2:00, and I spent the time talking to baristas, and fellow customers. After that, me and mom went to buy paint for my room, I spent the evening painting.

Thursday, April 2, 2009: I got up and painted more, then dyed my hair. We had a friend over for dinner, and I spent the evening learning different Slovak/Chezh/ and Russian words/phrases!

Thank you for reading about my week. Please remember that I finish 8th grade for ever in 9 weeks!!!!!

Hello

Hello Peoples, remember me? I know, your probably all thinking "What has happened to you? Were have you been??" Well, the answer is, I was taken by the dark forces of Facebook. It's true. Don't believe me? Well, that's your problem. I'm now going to try harder to spend more time writing, and less time looking at boring things of Facebook. And, if I don't keep my commitment, you have my permission to yell at me, call me naughty names, and yank my hair. (Okay, maybe you shouldn't go that far.) But, I will try to keep my commitment. Thank you.

S.S.

Prince Caspian

WARNING: THIS MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS!!! YOU ARE READING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

So, I finally got to see the famous movie "Prince Caspian". It was a fabulous movie, excellent acting, and the dialog was hilarious. I would give it a 10/10. The only things I didn't like were, the castle raiding scene, and they left out the scene where the children have to follow Aslan in the dark and only Lucy can see him, and the scene where Aslan goes around the country and people follow him because they trust him and they love him.

Too funny

So, I was reading this book by Roald Dahl, a children's author. And one of his books, The Vicar of Nibbleswicke, is about a vicar who has back-to-front dyslexia, he accidentally turns words around when he says them. Of course, he doesn't realize what he is doing. But anyways, when asked by a lady of the church about whether to sip or gulp communion wine, he replies, "Dear lady, you must never plug it! If everyone were to plug it the cup would be empty after about 4 goes and the rest of you wouldn't get any at all! What you must do is pis. Pis gently. All of you, all the way along the rail must pis, pis, pis. Do you understand what I mean?"

Then, the next day, Sunday, after the service he addresses the congregation about an issue he noticed. "Dear people, it is hardly my place as a newcomer to start making rules so early in my incumbency, but there is just one thing I feel I must mention. The road outside our little church is exceedingly narrow and, as you know, there is hardly room for two vehicles to pass each other. Therefore I feel it only right to ask members of the congregation not to krap all along the front of the church before the service. It is not only unsightly, but it is also dangerous. If you all krap at the same time all along the side of the road you could be hit by a passing car at any time. There is plenty of room for you to do this alongside the church on the south side if you feel you must."

So, I hope you enjoyed it!!

Eragon and Eldest

So my newest reads are Eragon and Eldest, by Christopher Paolini. Both very good books, but I liked Eragon more because he spent more time writing it so it has more detail then Eldest. Anyhow, I am now reading Elsie Dinsmor, a very interesting book. And after that? I have no idea. Any suggestions? I like thick books with lots of detail and excitement.

Winter nights

I sit in the lawn staring up at the clear night sky
The stars wink at me, telling me goodnight
The moon is but a sliver in the dark sky
The clouds are now covering everything in the sky
The first flakes of snow begin to gently fall
Twirling and dancing as if to say
"We're here, we're here!"
The snow turns to a steady fall
Tomorrow when we wake the ground will be covered with a clean white blanket of snow
Goodbye winter nights with your clear dark sky's
